It’s a BEAUTIFUL Fall day today in Wisconsin! Have to get out there and enjoy it, since we all know what’s just around the corner!!
This little Tilda is called Tilda Holding Magnolias ~ but, every time I see the image, the magnolias remind me of milk seed pods! lol I remember as a little girl collecting the seed pods and making a wreath from them. So, I thought I would make an Autumn card with Tilda collecting milk seed pods!! I also added the Fall Background stamp for a true Autumn look.
This card is for the November Magnolia-licious Highlites DT Sketch challenge. I just love this Sketch!
Tilda is colored with Copic markers, cut out and attached with pop dots. The DP is from The Paper Loft, called Autumn Blaze and Candy Apple, and I added some Autumn Harvest Pearlized brads from The Paper Company Studio.
I actually had time to decorate the inside of this card:
And, I always have fun “accessorizing” my Tildas ~ for this little cutie, I added some tiny ribbons to her braids …
Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday afternoon! Hugz ~ Mary

The sentiment is computer generated. I also used a MS Arch Lattice edge punch for the trim around the sentiment circle and added some MS ribbon. The paper used is from K&Company.

Aren’t they just the cutest little skaters ever?!!!
This is Tilda and Edwin on Ice from the Magnolia New Year Collection 2008.
I’ve colored these cuties with my Copic markers for the Copic Creations Challenge of RED hair. I love to color Tilda and Edwin with red hair ~ I’ve put together a tutorial below showing the specific Copic colors I generally use, if you are interested.
The paper used for this card is by SEI and called Winter Song – flurry kisses. I added some die cut snowflakes, embellished with Stickles in Stardust … my favorite!
I hope you can join us for this challenge ~ all the details can be found here. One lucky winner will receive a $35.00 Gift Certificate to 7 Kids College Fund! Be sure to check out all the awesome red-haired cards at the Copic Creations Red Hair challenge.

Copics Used: BG10, 11, 23; R000, 11, 17, 20, 24, 27; E000, 00, 02, 07, 08, 09, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 50, 51, 53, 93; W0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; C1, 2, 4, 7
1. One of my very favorite ways to color Tilda and/or Edwin is with RED hair. I like to color the center hair area with my lightest color to show the reflection of light in the hair. Here’s a quick guide showing which Copic colors I generally use for my RED-headed Tildas.
Supplies Used: Heavy weight cardstock or bristol board; Magnolia stamp; Memento ink pad; Copic Markers ~ E11 Bareley Beige, E13 Light Suntan, E15 Dark Suntan, E17 Reddish Brass, E19 Redwood & 0 Colorless Blender.
2. Using light feather strokes, fill in entire hair area with the lightest color E11 Bareley Beige.
3. Using light SHORT feather strokes, add E13 Light Suntan, beginning at top head and for this image, at bottom of the bangs - stopping at the center section.
4. Again, using light SHORT feather strokes, add E15 Dark Suntan the same as above.
5. And again as above, using E17 Reddish Brass.
6. Using your final, darkest color E19 Redwood, color VERY short feather strokes at the very top of the head and at the very bottom of the bangs.
7. The last steps are to blend all the above colors slightly – using light feather strokes with the lightest color, E11 Bareley Beige. If needed, you can use your 0 Colorless Blender to lighten any areas that may appear too dark, such as the center section showing the light reflection on Tilda’s hair.
8. Here’s Tilda all colored ~ She’s now ready for my card! Pretty easy, right?!
Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or problems with any of the above steps. Thanks for visiting!
I guess it’s safe to open this today!!
Thought I would save this last Halloween set from the new Magnolia So Spooky collection for today. I know it’s too late to order these Halloween stamps for this year, but it’s a great time to stock up for next year! This sentiment tag can be found here.
I also have one more Halloween Tilda card. This is Bat Tilda, also from the So Spooky collection.

This little cutie was so much fun to color. The dp used is from the Basic Grey eerie paper pad and the sentiment is computer generated.
Thank you for stopping by today – I hope you have a SO SPOOKY HALLOWEEN!

This adorable little elf is Sitting Alva from the Magnolia Jingle Jangle collection. I had so much fun coloring this little cutie. I added some Smooch pearlized paint in moonlight for all the white highlights and some tiny jingle bells throughout the card. They really do “jingle” when you shake the card!!
The paper is from My Minds Eye ~ the Merry Days of Christmas collection, this one is called Pajama Plaid. I used my Martha Stewart corner punch for the corners of the red frame and the new Spellbinders Nestability Labels Six for the center shape. The image was colored with Copics, of course!
Glad you could drop by today. Hope you’re doing well!! Hugz ~ Mary

Time for one more Halloween card! This little cutie is called Witch Tilda with Pumpkins. I have also included a larger pumpkin, called Spooky Pumpkin, which has been stamped several times, colored with Copics, cut out and attached on pop dots behind Tilda. Both images are from the new So Spooky collection, now available at Magnolia.nu.
I added a cute little pumpkin charm that I received from my VERY dear friend America! Thank you sweetie!

Thanks for visiting today ~ Hope you are having a wonderful week!

This is Dracula Edwin from the new So Spooky collection. I thought it would be fun to color him to look as though he has white face paint on, as children who dress as dracula sometimes wear.
On a side note, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers during our recent family crisis. Sadly, my Mother in Law passed away on Tuesday. It does help to know that she is reunited with her husband of over 60 years (FIL passed away 11/10/08).

Yay!! I finally have some new Magnolia stamps to show you!! This little cutie ~ So Spooky Tilda, is from the 2009 So Spooky Collection, now available to order from Magnolia.nu. It’s the first time I have colored Tilda with black hair – I thought it would coordinate well for this Halloween themed card. I also felt that she was entirely TOO cute to portray in a typical scary Halloween scene, and I also thought this sentiment worked perfectly!
I colored her outfit to match this awesome paper from the Basic Grey eerie collection. Added some gorgeous flowers and two little sparkly bat brads to the sentiment. Tilda was colored with Copics, cut out and attached with Pop-it dots to add some dimension. I have also sponged around the edges of the main image rectangle with Distress inks in dusty concord and black soot. The sentiment is computer generated.
Hope you are able to visit again – I have a few more sweet So Spooky Magnolia 2009 stamps to share with you! Thank you for stopping in today.
